It's time to get excited about our 70s-inspired interior re-design that nods to the Statesman's 57 years of history, politics and (yes!) some delicious scandals along the way.

Delicious food served with a soupçon of scandal in our fabulous new restaurant, featuring a big open kitchen so you can watch our award-winning chef and her team create mouth-watering dishes from the brand-new menu. Savour our hand-picked wine list or BYO from the Statesman's very own bottle shop.

SPORTS BAR
Crack open a cold beer with the ghosts of politician’s past. Bring your own crowd or join ours and enjoy all the big national and international games over a drink and the tastiest bar food in town. TAB and Keno on hand but no pokies - we're sports mad but we're keeping it classy!

coffee & bakehouse
The coffee outlet you always wanted. On its way to being voted the best coffee in Canberra, Ballot Box is situated in the Drawing Room and opens on to the Courtyard so you have a choice of perfect spots to savour your delicious coffee and pastries.
Ballot Box is next to our co-working space so local 'work from homers' are welcome too.

NANCY B COCKTAIL BAR
Strictly adults only! Get cosy in the Nancy B cocktail bar, a beautifully designed intimate space separated from the rest of the world by a sumptuous velvet curtain. Snuggle up in front of the double-sided fireplace, sip on cocktails curated uniquely for Nancy B and nibble on romantic snacks into the night. And yes, you can hire it for a private event.
